Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, followed up on infrastructure development projects in the cities of 15 May, New Damietta, 10th of Ramadan, El Shorouk, and El Obour. These projects include the improvement of roads, water networks, sewage systems, and green spaces. The Minister stressed the importance of completing these projects swiftly and in accordance with the highest quality standards while making optimal use of vacant land to create investment opportunities.
In the city of 15 May, Engineer Ali Saad, Head of the City Authority, oversaw the road development works in the 90-acre area. The work includes rainwater drainage systems and the establishment of a public garden.
Meanwhile, in New Damietta, Engineer Ashraf Fathy conducted an inspection tour of the main road development works, emphasizing the urgency of widening the railway crossing and maintaining streetlight poles to improve safety and efficiency.
Engineer Bassam Mohamed Fadl, Head of El Shorouk City Authority, instructed the roads department to implement a plan to improve the efficiency of roads and sidewalks in the western sector of the city. The plan includes repairing and replacing damaged pavements and installing new curbstones. He stressed the importance of restoring the area after any road surface work and warned that any entity violating these requirements would face legal action. He also insisted on adhering to technical standards and working in shifts to ensure project completion within the scheduled timeframe.
In the 10th of Ramadan City, Engineer Alaa Abdellah Mostafa, Head of the City Authority, conducted a field tour to monitor ongoing works in the second district of the first neighborhood. He inspected drinking water, sewage, irrigation, and landscaping projects. He emphasized the need to maintain quality and meet deadlines to improve public services. He also visited the tree forest area west of the city, directing that unused lands be studied for potential development to support sustainable growth.
In Obour City, Engineer Ahmed Rashad, Head of the City Development Authority, conducted a tour to inspect the progress of road and sidewalk development in the industrial area. The goal is to enhance road quality and improve traffic flow. His inspection also included monitoring cleaning and maintenance activities in several neighborhoods, as well as removing construction debris resulting from development operations.
