Steps for Receiving Complementary Housing Units 2025: Required Documents and Associated Costs

The Ministry of Housing has announced the detailed steps for receiving the Complementary Housing Units 2025. These steps include:

  1. Submitting the application online via the Housing Fund’s official website.

  2. Downloading and reading the terms and conditions brochure.

  3. Creating an online account and entering the required personal information.

  4. Uploading the necessary documents in PDF format.

  5. Paying the reservation deposit electronically.

  6. Waiting for the screening results to determine eligibility.

  7. If accepted, the applicant will be notified of the unit delivery date and the required down payment.

  8. Receiving the unit after signing the contract with the financing authority.

Required Documents for Receiving Complementary Housing Units 2025

Applicants must prepare and submit the following documents:

  1. A valid copy of the national ID card (for both spouses, if applicable).

  2. A certified income certificate (either a salary statement or proof of income from a certified accountant).

  3. A recent utility bill (electricity, gas, or water).

  4. Marriage certificate, divorce certificate, or death certificate (if applicable).

  5. Birth certificates of children (to verify the number of family members).

Reservation Down Payments and Interest Rates

The Ministry of Housing also revealed the reservation down payments and interest rates for both low- and middle-income applicants:

  • For low-income applicants: an annual interest rate of 8% with a reservation deposit of EGP 50,000.

  • For middle-income applicants: an annual interest rate of 12% with a reservation deposit of EGP 100,000.

This offering targets individuals who were unable to reserve units during the first phase. It includes fully finished residential units with a decreasing interest rate of 8% and installment plans extending up to 20 years.

The associated costs include administrative fees, a down payment upon unit delivery, and financing installments based on the applicant’s income.

The Ministry has also announced that the complementary phase of the “Housing for All Egyptians 7” project will be available from July 8 to August 7, 2025.
