Housing Officials Inspect Infrastructure Support and Development Projects in New Borg El Arab City

Engineer Ahmed Omran, Deputy Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority, conducted an inspection tour in New Borg El Arab City to follow up on infrastructure development projects, including wastewater treatment plants and residential facilities. The visit was part of the directives issued by the Minister of Housing. He was accompanied by a number of officials.

The tour began with an inspection of the wastewater treatment plant expansion project, where the implementation rates were reviewed. It also included supervision of utility works for 209 buildings as part of the “Housing for All Egyptians” initiative, with emphasis on the importance of adhering to quality standards and scheduled timelines.

The inspection also covered industrial land utility projects and roadworks in New Borg El Arab City, including the development of the “Hassan Allam” road, which plays a role in improving regional connectivity. Landscaping and greening projects were also reviewed to preserve the aesthetic appeal of the city.

At the conclusion of the tour, Engineer Ahmed Omran stressed the importance of regular follow-up on the projects and the commitment of the companies involved to specifications and quality standards.
