Engineer Mohamed Abdelaziz, Head of the Badr City Development Authority, announced that the relevant departments of the authority, in cooperation with the Construction Police led by Colonel Michael Maqar, have carried out immediate demolitions of building violations. These included a property on Plot 35 in Sector A of the Fourth District in the “Ebni Beitak” area, as well as Plot 33 in the First Neighborhood of the Third District, after confirming that the constructions did not comply with building regulations and lacked the necessary permits.
Engineer Mohamed Abdelaziz Amer emphasized that this campaign is part of ongoing efforts to combat unregulated construction and encroachments. He pointed out that there is continuous monitoring to detect any new violations and take the required legal actions against offenders.
Additionally, the Head of the 6th of October City Development Authority stated that campaigns to remove unlicensed construction violations have been intensified. Authorities have observed several attempts to bypass regulations, especially during public holidays, when individuals try to carry out illegal construction activities that could compromise the safety of residential buildings and distort urban planning.
He noted that the removal campaigns have resulted in the immediate demolition of expanded rooftop rooms in Plot No. 2 in the Most Distinguished Zone, as well as the immediate removal of wooden framework used to expand rooftop rooms in Plot No. 1640 in the 2000 Area.
