The New Cairo City Development Authority will resume the handover of residential units in the “Sakan Misr” project located in South Katameya and West Universities until Wednesday, June 18, 2025, in accordance with the schedule set by the Authority.
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, the Minister of Housing, emphasized the importance of facilitating the unit handover process for beneficiaries. He also stressed the need to promptly address any reported issues and to ensure that the handover process is well-organized.
According to the delivery schedule, the city authority will recommence handing over the units after the Eid Al-Adha holiday. The delivery will proceed as follows:

Units in Building No. 53 will be handed over on Sunday, June 15, 2025.

Units in Building No. 45 will be handed over on Monday, June 16, 2025.

Units in Building No. 49 will be handed over on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

Units in Building No. 69 will be handed over on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.
The handover of units in the West Universities area will also take place as follows:

Units in Building No. 44 will be handed over on Monday, June 2, 2025.

Units in Building No. 45 will be handed over on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.
As stated in the announcement by the New Cairo Authority, customers who have won housing units are required to go to the Housing and Development Bank branch in Nasr City, located at 2 Abbas El-Akkad Street, to complete their contract procedures. After finalizing the bank procedures, customers must then visit the City Authority’s office in Third Settlement, bringing with them the original bank letter and a copy of the signed cheques. This is to register their data in the system and receive a site letter to inspect and receive their residential unit.
