Allocation of 300 Land Plots for Citizens Who Settled Their Status in Al-Rabya, El Shorouk City

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the allocation of 300 residential land plots in the “Al-Rabya” area of El Shorouk City. This comes as part of the ninth public lottery held for citizens who had previously paid the down payments for specified land plots that were regularized in accordance with the approved detailed plans for the area.

Minister El-Sherbiny emphasized that this move is part of an ongoing effort to expedite the process of settling land ownership statuses and to promote development in newly added zones of new urban cities. He further highlighted the ministry’s continued efforts to finalize the regularization of ownership for both individuals and entities in land areas annexed to several new cities. Additionally, he pointed out the importance of strategic land use planning in these areas, aiming to establish fully integrated urban communities.

Engineer Bassam Mohamed Fadl, Head of the El Shorouk City Authority, explained that the lottery was conducted on the announced date, as published in official newspapers. It applied to applicants who had paid the required down payments for land parcels approved for regularization.

The lottery resulted in the allocation of 300 land plots in the Al-Rabya area, distributed as follows:

  • 137 plots at 209 m² each

  • 86 plots at 276 m² each

  • 46 plots at 400 m² each

  • 31 plots at 500 m² each

Citizen check-in began at 10:00 a.m., with doors closing at 12:00 p.m. to commence the draw. The event was held in the presence of officials from the New Urban Communities Authority. Attendance was permitted with valid ID and proof of payment. Authorities also noted that announcements regarding the remaining names and the date of the next lottery will continue.
