Removal of Encroachments on 93 Feddans and Progress on Projects in New Mallawi City

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced that the New Mallawi City Development Authority carried out a comprehensive campaign that led to the removal of 8 encroachments and the recovery of approximately 93 feddans of land within the city, in coordination with the police forces.

In this context, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny pointed out that work is ongoing on residential projects including Janna and Housing for All Egyptians, in addition to the service zone for the first phase of New Mallawi City.

This zone includes a basic education school with a capacity of 42 classrooms, a nursery, a healthcare unit, and a commercial mall, along with a range of other services, as well as infrastructure projects on premium plots.

For his part, Engineer Ahmed Mostafa Mohamed, Head of the New Minya City Authority and Supervisor of the New Mallawi City Authority, clarified that the land has been received free of encroachments and unauthorized use, and that implementation of the remaining decisions is underway in cooperation with the relevant security authorities.
