Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, has followed up on the progress of the “Diarna” residential project in New Nasser City – West Assiut, emphasizing the importance of delivering services efficiently. The project includes 754 residential units ranging in size from 104 to 154 square meters and aims to develop housing in Upper Egypt. The project will feature essential and recreational services such as places of worship, nurseries, markets, and green spaces, while ensuring a high level of privacy and safety through perimeter walls, surveillance cameras, and modern fire protection systems.
The Diarna project is strategically located in the Fourth District of New Nasser City, which lies 14 kilometers from Assiut Governorate. The city is known for its tranquility, beautiful natural surroundings, and moderate climate, making it an ideal living environment. The project is close to the main service center, land plots designated for apartment buildings and villas, Assiut International Airport, the Monastery of the Virgin Mary, Badr University – Assiut Branch, as well as several major housing developments.
The Ministry of Housing announced that applications for residential units in the Diarna project will be open from April 15 to May 15, 2025, as part of the first phase of the largest housing offering for middle-income citizens.
