Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, continued his field tour on Thursday in El Shorouk City, where he inspected the city’s roads and main axes. He was accompanied by officials from the ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority, and the city authority.
El-Sherbiny reviewed all completed works across the various roads and axes, including Engineer Sherif Ismail Square. He directed the continuation of efforts to enhance the facades of buildings in the square and throughout the city. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining infrastructure, landscaping, cleanliness, and lighting systems.
The Minister also inspected an ongoing utilities project in the city, stressing the urgency of completing the project as quickly as possible and removing debris from the site. He instructed Engineer Bassam Fadl, Head of the El Shorouk City Authority, to conduct an inventory of vacant lands to optimize their use.
