Eng. Ahmed Omran, Vice President of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), conducted an inspection visit to the Central Workshops of Cairo Electricity Production Company in 10th of Ramadan City. The visit aimed to explore opportunities for cooperation between the authority and the central workshops in developing a cooperation protocol for manufacturing water station equipment in new cities, thereby promoting local manufacturing and supporting sustainable development.
The visit included a tour of the Cairo Electricity Production Company (Central Workshops) located in 10th of Ramadan City. Established in 1990, these workshops are considered a strategic project to support local manufacturing of equipment for power stations and to reduce dependence on imports. Their activities include the production of high- and low-pressure air heaters, cooling water condensers, and air and oil coolers. They also manufacture and maintain valves and spare parts, and provide advanced engineering solutions and technical services focused on enhancing equipment efficiency, while adhering to quality and safety standards.
