Dr. Eng. Mohamed Khalaf Allah, Head of the Tourist Villages Authority, received Eng. Ahmed Abdel Razek, during an inspection tour to follow up on the projects in the tourist villages. They were accompanied by engineers Ahmed Omran, Khaled Sorour, and Haitham Abu Hammad. The tour began with monitoring the excavation work in the first phase of the lakes in the southern expansions, and an update was provided on the progress of the “New Marina by the Lake” project.
The Head of the Authority explained that the New Marina Lake project spans 820,000 m², with excavation volumes reaching up to 4.6 million m³. The daily execution rate has increased from 30,000 to 40,000 m³, with the completion rate for the southern lakes reaching approximately 48%. He also inspected the execution of the main inlet, which stretches 550 meters and contributes to the development of the southern area. The tour also included following up on the construction of the Champs-Élysées fence, the strategic plan, and the Round Lake development project.
The Head of the Authority continued his inspection by monitoring the development and expansion works of Road (22), as well as reviewing the implementation of infrastructure and roads within the project. He emphasized the importance of adhering to quality standards and timelines to enhance the quality of life for the residents of the tourist villages in the upcoming summer. He stressed that companies must commit to specifications and overcome obstacles to complete the projects and deliver the residential units. These steps come in line with the directives of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Housing following their visit to the tourist villages.
