Allocation of 1,500 Housing Units and 328 Land Plots for Journalists

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, received veteran journalist Abdel Mohsen Salama, candidate for the position of Head of the Journalists Syndicate, at the Ministry of Housing headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.

During the meeting, Minister Sherif El-Sherbiny expressed his appreciation for journalists and their vital role in enlightenment, raising public awareness, and supporting the Egyptian state in its national and strategic projects across various sectors.

Allocation of 1,500 Housing Units and 328 Land Plots for Journalists Following Meeting with Housing Minister

For his part, journalist Abdel Mohsen Salama stated that he discussed with the Minister ways to provide a sufficient number of housing units and residential plots that align with the needs of fellow journalists across different categories and throughout all governorates.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Minister El-Sherbiny approved the allocation of 1,500 housing units in new cities and 328 residential land plots. This initiative will allow 1,828 members of the Journalists Syndicate to benefit from these projects in the upcoming phase. Geographic diversity and pricing considerations were taken into account to broaden the base of journalist beneficiaries in various governorates.
