Engineer Mohamed Abdel Maqsoud, Head of the New October City Development Authority, received Engineers Mostafa Abdel Latif and Ahmed Ismail, members of the Technical Support Unit at the Ministry of Housing, to follow up on the progress of various housing projects at different stages within the city. This visit comes as part of the continuous monitoring of ongoing projects in the new cities, in line with the directives of Engineer Sherif El Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, which aim to enhance the quality of implementation and ensure the delivery of residential units to citizens in the best possible condition.
During the visit, Engineer Mohamed Abdel Maqsoud noted that 55,000 residential units are currently under construction as part of Phase Six, in addition to 14,000 units within the Green Housing Project, which falls under the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” in the West of the Airport area. Furthermore, the implementation of 494 residential units has begun as part of the middle-income housing project “Diarna,” with a firm emphasis on adhering to quality standards.
Engineer Mahmoud Mourad, Deputy Head of the New October City Authority, also accompanied the members of the Technical Support Unit on a field tour to follow up on the progress of work at the buildings in Phase Six, allocated for low-income citizens. During the tour, the progress of construction was reviewed, along with an inspection of designs and finishes.
