Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, affirmed the continuation of road development and upgrading efforts in the industrial zones of 10th of Ramadan City, New Beni Suef, and Obour. These efforts include the enhancement of sidewalks, curbs, utilities, lighting, and more.
The Minister emphasized the importance of adhering to the project timelines and technical standards to ensure the quality and sustainability of these developments. He pointed out that these initiatives aim to create an attractive investment environment and improve working and production conditions, thereby boosting the path of sustainable industrial development in the new cities.
He also stressed the need to keep industrial entities and investors informed about the development work schedules to ensure that production processes continue smoothly without delays. In this context, Engineer Alaa Abd El-Latif Mostafa, Head of the 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority, conducted a field tour to inspect road development and maintenance works in the industrial areas. The tour included monitoring asphalt works and interlock paving in Industrial Zone A1, along with maintenance of the base layer as part of a comprehensive plan to upgrade the main roads. The authority head also followed up on the road upgrading efforts in Industrial Zone A3 and the implementation rates of paving and maintenance works in the 2-million-square-meter area.
The tour also covered Industrial Zones (A5 and B2), where the actual needs of these areas were identified in terms of development and upgrading, in preparation for establishing a comprehensive execution plan aimed at improving the work environment and enhancing investment appeal.
Engineer Ahmed Abd El-Gaber Abd El-Latif, Head of the New Beni Suef City Authority, accompanied by several authority officials, conducted an inspection tour to follow up on the completion of road development and upgrading works in the medium industries area of the city, with a total cost of EGP 30 million.
The authority head clarified that the surface asphalt layer is currently being completed on several roads in the medium industries area, following the highest quality standards, to serve investors and drive the city’s development forward.
Engineer Ahmed Rashad, Head of the Obour City Development Authority, noted that the surface asphalt layer is being completed from Street (50) to Street (100), heading toward Street (400), along with continuing the remaining development works as materials become available. This comes as part of a comprehensive plan to upgrade and develop roads, sidewalks, finalize designs, pedestrian paths, and fans in the northern and western extensions of Industrial Zone (A).
