Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held a meeting to follow up on housing projects in several governorates and new cities. The meeting was attended by officials from the ministry, the Central Agency for Reconstruction, the Social Housing Fund, and city development authorities.
The meeting addressed the implementation status of housing projects allocated for low-income citizens in the areas of Shadmu – Dameshqin, Hawara in Fayoum Governorate. It also covered the inclusion of low-income housing units within the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” in Qena Governorate and the New Qena City. Additionally, the meeting reviewed housing units for low- and middle-income citizens in Hadayek October City and investment housing projects in the areas of (Maspero – Magra El-Oyoun – Sheikh Zayed City).
During the meeting, the Minister discussed the delivery plan for housing units and service projects such as nurseries, schools, and markets. He also addressed the status of infrastructure works, including drinking water, sanitation, gas, and electricity connections. Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny instructed the swift completion of the remaining housing units, roads, and green areas, emphasizing the need for weekly field follow-ups to address any recorded observations.
