Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, arrived at the Central Business District (CBD) in the New Administrative Capital on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, following his tour of the Gardens of El-Fustat Hills Project. The minister began his visit by holding a meeting with officials from the Chinese company CSCEC, project consultants, and the team responsible for the CBD project to review the latest updates on progress. The meeting was attended by representatives from the Ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority, as well as several officials from companies participating in the project.
At the beginning of the meeting, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny emphasized the importance of reviewing the current status of the project, stressing the need to stay updated on all developments and the execution progress of the district, especially during this critical phase that requires close attention to time management.
The Minister of Housing also stressed the importance of cooperation between the Ministry and the Chinese company to ensure the project is implemented with the required quality and within the set deadlines, while maintaining coordination among all relevant parties.
He emphasized the importance of addressing all project-related observations, highlighting the need for teamwork to overcome any challenges. The project’s implementation status was presented, with a focus on continuing shift work schedules to monitor ongoing activities. The minister also reviewed the progress of infrastructure works, the iconic tower, the hotel, and the residential towers.
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny reaffirmed the significance of the Central Business District project in the New Administrative Capital and the necessity of adhering to quality standards. On the other hand, the Chinese company CSCEC reaffirmed its commitment to the project.
