Khaled El-Balshy, Head of the Journalists Syndicate, has communicated with Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, to follow up on the preliminary agreement regarding the allocation of 750 housing units for journalists from the available units.
El-Balshy explained: “Based on previous meetings with Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny at the ministry’s headquarters, we have renewed our request to allocate 750 housing units within the mid-income housing projects, such as Dar Misr, Jannah Misr, Sakan Misr, and the Distinguished Housing initiative. These units would be distributed across several cities including the New Administrative Capital, New Cairo, New Obour, El Shorouk, Hadayek October, New October, New Mansoura, New Damietta, New Alamein, New Nasser in Assiut, in addition to other governorates in Upper Egypt.”
The Syndicate Head stated that the minister mentioned the request is currently under review to determine the units that will be allocated.
