Engineer Asmaa Makhlouf, Head of the New Suez City Authority, conducted a site tour with representatives from the General Authority for Roads and Bridges to determine the route of an independent road that will connect the city to the Cairo–Suez Desert Road.
The project aims to provide a dedicated main entrance to the city, separate from the Governorate of Suez, in line with the directives of the Minister of Housing to enhance accessibility. Asmaa emphasized that the new road will reinforce the city’s status as an integrated urban hub with advanced infrastructure, boosting its appeal to investors. She highlighted the city’s strategic location near the New Administrative Capital, Sokhna Port, and Adabiya Port.
Following the inspection, Engineer Asmaa Makhlouf, accompanied by city authority officials, proceeded to the industrial zone where she reviewed ongoing works to rehabilitate and upgrade the area’s road network. During the tour, the Head of the Authority stressed the importance of intensifying efforts, adhering strictly to the set timeline, and ensuring full compliance with occupational safety measures to guarantee high-quality execution in line with the city’s ongoing development.
Participating in the tour from the city authority were Engineer Abdelhamid Mohamed Mahmoud, Deputy Head of the Authority, Engineer Basem Samir, Director of Projects and Housing, along with officials from the General Authority for Roads and Bridges.
