Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, followed up on the ongoing works under the “Housing for All Egyptians” initiative in New Obour City, where 27,321 residential units are being constructed. These works include unit finishing, infrastructure development, and service enhancement. The Minister emphasized the need to expedite the completion of works according to standard specifications while ensuring the provision of a fully integrated residential environment. He also stressed the importance of coordination among relevant entities to overcome any obstacles and ensure that projects are delivered on time without compromising quality.
Dr. Eng. Ahmed Ismail, Head of the New Obour City Authority, conducted an inspection tour to monitor the implemented works and projects currently under execution as part of the presidential initiative in neighborhoods 15 and 16. He focused on the progress of housing projects and the ongoing development of public utilities, stressing the importance of adhering to the project timelines and ensuring high-quality execution to meet citizens’ needs.
During the tour, the quality of execution and compliance with technical specifications were assessed. The Head of the Authority emphasized the importance of delivering the residential units on schedule along with the implementation of essential services. He also reviewed the progress of service-related works and infrastructure, including the installation of interlock paving and curbstones. After the tour, the Head of the Authority confirmed the continuation of daily monitoring of projects in New Obour City, highlighting their role in providing safe housing and enhancing infrastructure development.
