The Ministry of Housing, represented by the New Urban Communities Authority, has announced the launch of a new residential project in Marina, which includes both villas and apartment buildings.
A New Project Featuring 1,183 Units in Marina
The project, named M8 by the Lake, consists of 1,183 residential units comprising villas and apartment buildings. It is part of the ongoing development efforts at the Marina El Alamein Tourist Center.
This announcement came during a follow-up by Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, regarding the latest updates on the Lake Project in New Marina, which includes an underwater tunnel, a lake, pumping stations, and pipeline networks.
The Minister also reviewed the implementation status of the Boghaz New Marina Lake Project and the other projects currently being launched at the Marina El Alamein Tourist Center. He emphasized the importance of setting clear timelines for these projects and maintaining on-site supervision to ensure progress.
In addition, the Minister followed up on various developments in New Alamein City, including the delivery of residential units in several projects such as the Mazarin Compound, the Latin District, and the beachfront towers. He directed that the units be delivered to buyers on schedule and utility meters be installed accordingly.
The Minister reviewed the proposals and development plans for the West Ras El Hekma area and called for a meeting with concerned entities and companies to discuss the current status of the work. He also tracked the progress of several tourism village projects, including the Marina 8 project, which spans 179 acres and includes 243 buildings and 917 residential units. The meeting also addressed the unit delivery schedule and the progress of infrastructure, electricity networks, and components of the area’s development plan.
