Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held an extensive meeting on Monday with the heads and officials of the ministry’s affiliated entities, in the presence of ministry officials, to follow up on various work files.
El-Sherbiny emphasized that the ministry is working on several files and projects through its affiliated bodies. He expressed his gratitude to those in attendance for their efforts during the past period and stressed the importance of achieving positive results for the projects each entity is implementing in the coming period. He directed the need for regular monitoring of all projects to ensure their swift completion.
El-Sherbiny also highlighted the importance of enhancing revenues to meet the needs of the various projects. He called for intensifying the work carried out by the different bodies and emphasized the necessity of providing the required support for these projects. He also pointed out the need for coordination between the relevant entities regarding joint projects.
The Minister of Housing instructed the heads and representatives of the affiliated bodies to conduct field follow-ups to monitor project performance and ensure their completion within the scheduled timelines while overcoming any obstacles. He stressed the importance of strengthening governance departments and establishing them in entities where they do not yet exist. He also directed that human resources be utilized to their fullest potential, working toward digital transformation to reduce direct interactions between citizens and employees. He underlined the importance of relying on local products in project implementation. The meeting also discussed proposals to improve the services provided to citizens and increase work output levels.
