Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held a meeting today with officials from the Saudi Egyptian Construction Company to review the marketing performance of several projects under the New Urban Communities Authority. The meeting is part of the minister’s regular engagements with marketing and real estate development companies to track the implementation of marketing strategies for ministry-led projects. Officials from both the authority and the ministry attended the session.
At the start of the meeting, the Minister of Housing emphasized that the ministry has a clear vision for the marketing and promotion of all residential and development projects in the new cities. This vision aims to maximize the return on investments made in these projects, increase occupancy rates in the new cities, and enhance project revenues. These efforts contribute to the continued implementation of new projects that meet the needs of citizens. He also noted the ministry’s ongoing role in urban development initiatives, some of which are partially funded through the proceeds of the marketed projects.
During the meeting, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny reviewed the latest updates on partnership projects and the status of unit handovers. He also discussed several projects currently marketed by the company in Alexandria, such as Sawary West of Carrefour, New Alamein, Marina, and Fustat, in addition to the volume of sales achieved by the company. He stressed the need to intensify marketing efforts to increase sales volumes in the available projects and reviewed a number of investment opportunities in the new cities.
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny also directed the establishment of a timeline for unit deliveries within the projects and the creation of a joint follow-up mechanism with the company to ensure the continuity of work and the timely delivery of units.
