The Cooperative Association for Construction and Housing for members of the Port Said Labor Unions Federation intends to develop a project consisting of 8 residential buildings as part of the second phase of the federation’s land division. The project is located within the urban extension of Ras El Bar city, Damietta. The execution contract is scheduled to be awarded on May 3. Participating companies are required to submit a security deposit of EGP 1 million and must be classified as at least a third-category contractor by the Egyptian Federation for Construction and Building Contractors.
Last January, the association launched another project that included 5 summer residential buildings in an area of 3 feddans in the same region.
The association has invited tenders from construction and real estate development companies registered with the Chamber of the Egyptian Federation of Industries, in addition to public and private sector contractors categorized as first-class by the Egyptian Federation for Construction and Building Contractors. The project is located on a 3-fedan plot in parcel 84A in Ras El Bar city, Damietta Governorate.
The Waqa’i’ Masriya (Egyptian Gazette) published in issue no. 271 dated December 1, 2016, the decision of Damietta Governorate No. 760 of 2016, which approved the land division project of the Cooperative Association for Construction and Housing in the urban extension of Ras El Bar city. The project covers an area of 1 feddan, 14 carats, and 3.3 shares. The Urban Extension Authority is responsible for executing the utility infrastructure works at the expense of the landowner, by the specifications of the local authority and the Minister of Housing’s decree No. 12 of 1987.
