Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, monitored the progress and execution status of residential projects in New October City. This included the commencement of the new housing project “Diarna” in addition to thousands of residential units that have been completed or are under construction as part of the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians.”

Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny emphasized the need to continue monitoring the execution status of residential units and ongoing work at construction sites to meet the growing demand for housing. He also stressed the importance of ensuring that all work is carried out with the required quality standards.
Diarna Project for Middle-Income Housing
In this regard, Eng. Mohamed Abdel Maqsoud, Head of the New October City Development Authority, announced the commencement of construction for 494 residential units within the Diarna project for middle-income housing, responding to the increasing demand for housing in the city.
Eng. Mahmoud Murad, Deputy Head of the City Authority, conducted an inspection tour to follow up on the progress of the Green Housing buildings. The tour included reviewing excavation work, foundation pouring, and the concrete structure, in addition to checking the finishing of the facades of the sixth phase of the “Housing for All Egyptians” units designated for low-income citizens.
Eng. Mohamed Abdel Maqsoud emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts and overcoming obstacles to ensure work progresses according to the set schedule. He also reaffirmed the commitment to the highest quality standards to provide modern housing for citizens.
