Engineer Hossam El-Din Abdo Mohamed, Head of the North Coast West Sector 3 Authority, accompanied by officials from the authority, conducted a field visit to monitor the ongoing work at the Almaza Bay tourist village project. The project is located in the Sidi Heneish area along the Alexandria-Matrouh coastal road. During the visit, the executed works on-site were inspected to ensure compliance with the approved master plan, the ministerial decision, and the granted project licenses.
This visit comes as part of the directives of Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, to follow up on North Coast projects in light of the state’s ongoing development plans for the area extending from west of Ras El-Hikma to Salloum.
Engineer Hossam El-Din Abdo emphasized the importance of strictly adhering to the project’s scheduled timeline while accelerating the pace of execution on-site. The visit revealed that the implementing company has already started constructing several residential units with the issued permits.
The Head of the Authority announced the issuance of approximately 270 building permits for the project, with 30% of the first phase already completed. Finishing works have been completed in the Celection2 area, seven hotels are now ready, and 1,700 hotel chalet units are at different stages of construction. Additionally, three hotels under construction will include 300 units. The importance of expediting construction progress according to the specified schedule was also emphasized.
