Cairo Governorate has commenced evacuating and demolishing 15 buildings in the North Craftsmen area of Manshiyet Nasser district due to their significant safety risks.
Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, confirmed that these buildings are being demolished to ensure residents’ safety. He added that necessary compensation has been provided to affected residents, as the area suffers from soil issues that could lead to sudden building collapses. The buildings are located on the edge of an elevated area exceeding 30 meters in height.
