The Status of 60 New Plots in Al-Amal Cooperative Society

The New Obour City Development Authority has announced the commencement of receiving a new list of landowners from the Al-Amal Cooperative Society whose land status has been regularized in the city. Owners must visit the authority and submit the original specified documents to complete the procedures and make the necessary payments. Each landowner will be handled individually, and the required declarations will be signed. The list includes 60 land plots divided into four groups.

The first group, consisting of 20 plots, will submit their documents to the authority on March 16. The second group, comprising 20 plots, will follow on March 17. Meanwhile, the third group, containing another 20 plots, will begin their submissions on March 18.

Required Documents for Completing the Procedures

The authority has outlined the necessary documents to finalize the process, including the original preliminary sales contract submitted with the application, ownership sequence documents, and a copy of the national ID (along with the original for verification). The original receipt of the application submission issued by the post office must also be provided. If the original receipt is lost, a certificate from the post office confirming the application’s submission within the specified deadline must be presented.

Furthermore, landowners must submit a bank-certified or cashier’s check to the New Obour City Authority, representing the advance payment “on account” of the prescribed fees based on land size categories.

Required Payments for Al-Amal Cooperative Society Land Regularization

The land size categories and their corresponding payments are as follows:

  • For plots up to 300 square meters, a check of EGP 60,000 is required.
  • The amount for plots ranging from 300 to 500 square meters is EGP 100,000.
  • For plots more significant than 500 square meters, a check of EGP 150,000 must be provided.

The authority emphasized that all mentioned amounts serve as an advance payment on account, pending the necessary financial settlements based on the actual area to be handed over. It was also clarified that transactions will be conducted through the Technological Center for Customer Services at the authority’s headquarters. Additionally, Thursdays have been designated for handling cases of those who missed their scheduled appointments within the same week.
