Hadayek Al-Asimah is witnessing the implementation of 120,000 housing units as part of the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians,” dedicated to low- and middle-income citizens. This makes it one of the most significant clusters within the project.
As part of ongoing monitoring efforts, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, conducted an inspection tour of the housing units under construction in Hadayek Al-Asimah.

Several officials from the ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority, and the head of the city authority accompanied the minister. Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny received a detailed briefing on the city’s “Housing for All Egyptians” initiative during the visit. Engineer Ammar Mandour, Head of the Hadayek Al-Asimah City Authority, stated that the city’s total number of housing units is 120,186. Of these, 112,818 units are allocated to low-income citizens, with 38,928 already handed over.
Progress on Middle-Income Housing and Essential Services
Additionally, 7,368 units have been designated for middle-income citizens, with construction progressing at an advanced rate. The city also has many essential services to cater to residents’ needs. These include educational, security, healthcare, sports, religious, and commercial services.
Maintenance and Project Quality
During his tour, the Minister of Housing visited one of the residential projects and emphasized the importance of regular maintenance for landscaping, green spaces, building facades, and directional signage. While inspecting one of the housing units under the “Housing for All Egyptians” initiative, he praised the high quality of the interior finishes.
The project includes 25,000 housing units in the middle-income housing sector, with 4,000 units in various governorates and 21,000 units in new cities. Within this sector, 2,800 units have been allocated, with 1,728 already completed. Meanwhile, 1,083 units have surpassed an 85% completion rate.
