Reviewing the Status of “Decent Life” Initiative Projects and the Need for Expedited Completion

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, held a meeting to review the progress of the presidential initiative Decent Life, which aims to develop Egypt’s rural areas. Several officials from the ministry and relevant authorities attended the meeting. El-Sherbiny highlighted the significance of these projects in improving citizens’ quality of life and providing various essential services to targeted villages. He stressed the need for continuous monitoring and the resolution of any challenges that may hinder project execution.

During the meeting, the Minister of Housing reviewed the implementation status of water and sanitation projects under the initiative across all governorates. Discussions focused on execution rates, progress percentages, and the scheduled completion timelines. The minister directed officials to closely follow up on all project details and completion rates to ensure timely delivery and operationalization to meet the needs of residents in the targeted villages.

After the meeting, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny reaffirmed the importance of accelerating the implementation pace of Decent Life initiative projects and maintaining regular and continuous follow-ups to ensure their completion at the highest level of quality.
