Housing Minister’s Advisor Inspects National Projects in Hadayek October City

Engineer Mohamed Abdullah, Head of the Hadayek October City Authority, welcomed Engineer Wael Moussa, Advisor to the Minister of Housing for National Projects, Engineer Tarek El-Refai, Advisor to the Minister for Utilities, and Engineer Mostafa Kamel, Deputy Chairman of the Authority for Utilities Sector Affairs.

They were received by the city’s deputy heads, assistants, and directors of relevant departments. The visit included an inspection of several vital projects currently under implementation in the city, including:

Final Touches on Key Projects

The officials reviewed the final stages of an important project, including roadworks, urban coordination, landscaping, electrical power activation, and water, sewage, telecommunications, and gas utilities. Public site lighting was also assessed in preparation for the upcoming delivery of the first housing units to beneficiaries.

“Housing for All Egyptians” Project Progress

The delegation examined the execution rates of the Housing for All Egyptians project in the downtown area near the Technology University. They reviewed the status of roads, utilities, and electricity work, ensuring parallel progress to meet the scheduled delivery of housing units as per the approved timeline.

Infrastructure Enhancements

The team monitored road construction progress, infrastructure upgrades, and site lighting. So far, 60% of waste removal has been completed, with intensified efforts underway for full clearance. Additionally, 85% of the public lighting network and poles have been supplied and installed. The city’s water and sewage network components are also being upgraded, with the project divided into parallel work zones to accelerate execution.

At the end of the visit, the minister’s advisors emphasized the importance of continuous follow-up and daily progress monitoring. They stressed the need to complete all roadworks, electricity, and utility installations on time while holding executing companies accountable for any delays, given the critical role these projects play in achieving the city’s sustainable development plans.
