The Progress in the Financial and Administrative Affairs Sector of the New Urban Communities Authority

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, met with Accountant Mohamed Ragai, Deputy Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) for Financial, Administrative, and Human Resources Affairs, along with several sector officials to review work progress and performance development plans. Several ministry officials also attended the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny emphasized that this gathering is part of a series of meetings he conducts with all NUCA sectors to monitor ongoing projects and workflow. He highlighted the importance of the financial industry and the necessity of having a comprehensive vision to achieve an economic balance between revenues and expenditures. He also stressed the need for proper asset management and evaluation of properties owned by the authority and new city administrations, maximizing their utilization and regularly tracking financial flows from various sources.

During the meeting, Accountant Mohamed Ragai, Deputy Chairman of NUCA for Financial, Administrative, and Human Resources Affairs, presented an overview of the authority’s financial status. He reviewed revenues and expenditures and outlined recent efforts to enhance the sector’s performance.
