Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced that the construction of a new hospital with a capacity of 175 beds in New Qena is nearing completion. He stated that this hospital would serve the residents of the city and surrounding areas as part of the state’s efforts to provide various services to the people of Upper Egypt.
The Minister of Housing also pointed out that the project has reached an advanced stage and is being implemented under the supervision of the New Qena City Development Authority. He emphasized the importance of increasing the construction pace while ensuring quality and compliance with project specifications.
In the same context, Engineer Ayman Rashad Abdel Hamid, Head of the New Qena City Development Authority, and several authority officials conducted an inspection tour to monitor the progress of the hospital project. They reviewed the work progress and addressed any obstacles facing the project, which is located in the club area within the northern extension of the first residential district and is being executed by specialized companies.
Engineer Ayman Rashad stressed the authority’s commitment to providing all necessary services for the city’s residents across all sectors.
