Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, and Eng. Mohamed Shimi, Minister of Public Enterprises, held a meeting at the Ministry of Housing in the New Administrative Capital to discuss mutual topics in the presence of senior officials from both ministries. El-Sherbiny welcomed Shimi and emphasized the importance of strengthening inter-ministerial cooperation to achieve comprehensive development in Egypt. He stressed the need for continuous monitoring and coordination to ensure the timely completion of projects.
Eng. Mohamed Shimi praised the fruitful collaboration with the Ministry of Housing, which accelerates the execution of joint projects and supports sustainable development goals. He highlighted that public sector companies leverage their expertise in executing central housing and infrastructure projects. He also affirmed that this cooperation enhances companies’ ability to overcome challenges, emphasizing the importance of utilizing assets and increasing their returns as part of the ministry’s strategy to develop enterprises. Updates on the joint committee between the ministries were reviewed, highlighting the importance of cooperation in urban planning, real estate development, and optimizing public sector company assets.
