Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced holding a public lottery for applicants seeking premium land, middle-income housing plots, and Dar Misr units in Sadat City. The lottery took place in the presence of many applicants at the indoor hall of Cairo International Stadium.
Dr. Hassan El-Shorbagi, Deputy Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority, stated that 1,938 premium land plots were offered, attracting 202 applicants from people with disabilities and 6,617 from other categories. Additionally, 1,270 middle-income plots were made available, for which 761 applicants from people with disabilities and 33,937 from other customers applied. Moreover, the lottery for Dar Misr units was conducted, with 11 units available, attracting eight applicants from people with disabilities and 200 from other categories.
The public lottery for Janna units and housing land on the 6th of October City is scheduled for today, February 24, 2025, while the Janna units in New Cairo will be held tomorrow, February 25, 2025, at Cairo International Stadium. Meanwhile, the lottery for middle-income land plots in New Borg El Arab will occur at the same venue on February 26, 2025. Only applicants who have provided proof of earnest payment will be allowed to attend the lottery, which will be broadcast live on the New Urban Communities Authority’s official website. Applicants who violated the reservation conditions have been disqualified from participating.
