Applications for social housing apartments under the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians 6” will begin on Thursday, February 27, 2025, and continue until March 27, 2025, in Port Said Governorate. The offering is available to citizens eligible for cooperative housing in 2013.
How to Apply
- Applications can be submitted by purchasing the terms and conditions booklet and paying the reservation deposit and administrative fees at automated post offices in Port Said Governorate.
- The price of the booklet is EGP 355 (non-refundable).
- A reservation deposit of EGP 50,000 must be paid. After that, applicants can register via the Social Housing Fund’s official website to complete the reservation process.
Eligibility Requirements for Port Said Apartments
- Applicants must be eligible for cooperative housing in 2013 in Port Said Governorate.
- Financing System:
- The project offers mortgage financing with an annual interest rate of 8%.
- The minimum down payment is 25% of the unit’s value.
- Repayment terms extend up to 20 years.
- Priority in allocation will be based on social status as follows:
- Married applicants with dependents.
- Widows or widowers with dependents.
- Divorced applicants with dependents.
- Married applicants without dependents.
- Single, widowed, or divorced applicants without dependents.
Who is Eligible to Apply?
- Nationality: Applicants must be Egyptian citizens.
- Age: Applicants must be between 21 and 50 years old.
- Monthly Income Limits:
- EGP 12,000 for individuals.
- EGP 15,000 for families (low-income category).
- EGP 20,000 for individuals and EGP 25,000 for families (middle-income category).
Additional Conditions for Housing Unit Reservation
- Applicants and their family members cannot apply for more than one unit in the same offering.
- Applicants must have previously benefited from real estate financing initiatives.
- Applicants or their families must not have been allocated a previous housing unit.
- Applicants or their family members must not have received any form of governmental housing support or a loan from the National Housing Project.
- Applicants or their spouses must be residents or employed in the governorate where they apply.
- The housing units must be used for residential purposes only and may not be repurposed for any other purpose for seven years.
