Reservation Date for “Housing for All Egyptians 6” Apartments with a Down Payment of EGP 50,000

The Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Fund, affiliated with the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has announced the start of reservations for residential units in Port Said Governorate. This initiative is part of the “Housing for All Egyptians 6” program designated for eligible cooperative housing beneficiaries in 2013. The project aims to provide social housing apartments for low-income individuals through a mortgage financing system with affordable financial benefits.

Details of “Housing for All Egyptians 6” Apartments and Reservation Conditions

Residential units have been allocated in a prime location (Al-Janoub District – Al-Raswa, Mohamed Mehran area) in Port Said Governorate. Each unit is priced at EGP 750,000, with a potential 10% increase. The apartments have an area of up to 75 square meters. Applicants must purchase the terms and conditions booklet for EGP 355, which is non-refundable, and pay the earnest payment deposit along with administrative fees through automated post offices within the governorate.

Registration is available online through the official fund website (www.shmff.gov.eg), where applicants can submit the attached application form along with the declaration included in the terms and conditions booklet. The application period runs from February 27, 2025, to March 27, 2025, providing eligible citizens with a real opportunity to obtain their housing units within the project.

As for the installment plan for “Housing for All Egyptians 6” apartments, contracts are based on the mortgage finance system designed for low-income applicants with an annual interest rate of 8%. A minimum down payment of 25% of the unit price is required, with repayment periods extending up to 20 years, facilitating financial planning and helping citizens achieve homeownership at competitive and affordable prices.

Conditions for Reserving “Housing for All Egyptians 6” Apartments

According to official data, applicants must be eligible cooperative housing beneficiaries from 2013 in Port Said Governorate. They are also required to pay an earnest payment deposit of EGP 50,000. If the number of applicants exceeds the available units, priority will be determined based on social status as follows:

  1. First Priority: Married individuals with dependents.
  2. Second Priority: Widowed or widower with dependents.
  3. Third Priority: Divorced individuals with dependents.
  4. Fourth Priority: Married individuals without dependents.
  5. Fifth Priority: Single individuals, including divorced or widowed individuals without dependents.

In cases where applicants have the same priority ranking, preference is given to the older applicant. Additionally, the applicant’s net annual monthly income must not exceed the maximum limit specified in the announcement.
