The Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Support Fund has announced postponing the auction session for the sale of shops, administrative units, a bakery, a pharmacy, and a nursery. Originally scheduled under the “Housing for All Egyptians” initiative in Aswan, the auction has been moved from February 19, 2025, to February 27, 2025. The session location has also been changed to the Giza Sports Club Hall. This initiative aims to promote development and increase occupancy rates in the targeted areas.
The CEO of the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Support Fund has announced a new offering that includes selling a selection of shops and administrative units in the social housing project in the village of Fatira, Kom Ombo Center. The announcement consists of the sale of 12 shops, with areas ranging from 11.20 to 20.20 square meters, a bakery with an area of 90 square meters, and four administrative units, each 90 square meters, in building No. 28. Additionally, the offering includes six shops of similar sizes, a pharmacy with an area of 40.92 square meters, a nursery of approximately 180 square meters, and administrative units in building No. 38.
Mai Abdel Hamid stated that the public auction will be held on February 19, 2025, at noon in the Executive Council Hall on the third floor of Building (1) in the General Office of Aswan Governorate, located on the Nile Corniche in Aswan City. The bidding terms booklet costs 400 EGP and can be obtained from the Directorate of Housing and Utilities in Aswan or the General Authority for Government Services.
She also clarified that the security deposit for entering the auction is only 10,000 EGP. Additionally, 10% of the total amount must be paid immediately upon winning the auction, while the remaining 90% must be settled within three months.
