The Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Support Fund continues to review applications submitted for housing units within the fifth phase of the “Housing for All Egyptians 5” project. This phase includes ready-to-deliver and under-construction units scheduled for delivery within three years with fully finished specifications.
Details of the “Housing for All Egyptians 5” Project
In the coming period, the fund aims to increase the monthly housing units offered to 10,000 units. Efforts will be intensified to transfer applicants’ files to various financing entities, including banks and mortgage finance companies, to expedite the housing allocation process.
New Options for Applicants Outside the Priority List
- The option to retain the down payment to secure priority in the new phase of the project.
- The ability to refund the financial down payment on a date will be announced later.
Announcement of Screening Results and Appeals:
The screening and evaluation results will be announced within a month, followed by:
- The appeal process is open for applicants who do not meet the conditions.
- Reviewing the appeals and making decisions before the final announcement of the beneficiaries.
Initiation of Inquiry Procedures and Installment Payments:
- Installment payments for under-construction units will be made within two months.
- Inquiry procedures for winners of ready-to-deliver units will begin before the end of the current fiscal year.
