Deputy Minister of Housing Inspects Utility Projects in 15th of May City

Eng. Tarek El-Refai, Deputy Minister of Housing for Utilities, conducted an inspection tour of utility projects in 15th of May City, accompanied by Eng. Ali Saad, Head of the City Development Authority, Eng. Sayed El-Shafei, Deputy Head of the Authority, Eng. Mohamed Mansour, Utility Official, and Eng. Ahmed Salah.

During the tour, progress on infrastructure projects was reviewed, including the “Zahraa – Housing for All Egyptians” project, which is dedicated to middle-income residents. The project features 203 buildings with a total of 4,872 residential units, at a total cost of EGP 2 billion.

Infrastructure & Development Progress

  • Water, sewage, and irrigation networks are being developed and connected to major road axes to support regional growth.
  • Contractors were urged to adhere to schedules and quality standards to ensure timely project completion.
  • The development of new cities is a strategic move to improve urban services and infrastructure.

Commitment to Timely Delivery

The Deputy Minister instructed construction companies to accelerate their work, adhere to technical specifications, and meet delivery deadlines. He emphasized that the project must align with the high standards of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) and the Ministry of Housing, ensuring that units are delivered to beneficiaries as scheduled.
