The New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) has begun the public lottery process for small residential plots under the Masaken project. More than 8,000 plots have been offered across various categories—medium, premium, and highly exclusive—attracting nearly 195,000 applicants.
The first lottery session is scheduled for Saturday in New Cairo, New Fayoum, and New Tiba, with approximately 21,437 applicants.
On Sunday, NUCA will continue the process in Hadayek October, New October, and El-Shorouk, with around 23,885 applicants. The following Monday, lotteries for Alamein and New Damietta will take place, covering over 30,117 applicants. The process will then move to New Minya and West Qena on Tuesday, February 11, involving more than 23,132 applicants.
The lottery sessions will resume in 10th of Ramadan, New Aswan, and Badr on February 16 and 17, with approximately 71,700 applicants. On February 18, public lotteries will be held in Obour and New Mansoura for 11,287 applicants. The final session is scheduled for Wednesday, February 19, covering West Assiut, New Qena, New Sohag, Akhmim, New Mallawi, and Beni Suef, with around 13,901 applicants.
This initiative is part of NUCA’s ongoing effort to provide diverse housing opportunities, with residential land plots ranging from 250 to 1,300 square meters, catering to different income groups.
