Senior Officials Inspect Infrastructure Projects in New Obour City

Eng. Ameen Ghoneim, Vice President of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) for Utilities and Maintenance, conducted an inspection tour to monitor key infrastructure projects in New Obour City. The visit focused on water, sewage, roads, and electricity networks, including facilities for land regularization. He was accompanied by Eng. Ahmed Omran, Eng. Ahmed Ali, Assistant Vice Presidents of NUCA, Eng. Haitham Hamdy, Deputy Vice President, and Dr. Eng. Ahmed Ismail Jabr, Head of the City Authority.

Focus on Key Utility Projects

The visit aligns with directives from Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, emphasizing regular monitoring of ongoing projects in new cities and resolving any implementation challenges.

During the tour, officials reviewed a presentation on the current status of infrastructure projects in the city. The delegation then inspected the ongoing construction of Obour 6 Power Station in the 13th district, one of the city’s most critical projects. The station aims to strengthen the electricity network and provide stable power supply to several residential areas.

Eng. Ameen Ghoneim stressed the importance of accelerating technical procedures to ensure the station’s completion according to top engineering standards. He also emphasized strict adherence to project timelines to ensure the station’s timely operation.

Land Allocation and Utilities Development

The delegation also inspected infrastructure developments in various land plots in Al-Amal area, which has been newly integrated into New Obour City. The officials assessed the progress of land allocation processes in the area.

Eng. Ameen Ghoneim instructed the team to adhere strictly to the planned schedules for handing over plots in District 209. The project aims to complete the legalization of land ownership and deliver serviced and well-planned plots to citizens in compliance with established standards.
