Major General Walid Farouk Al-Baroudi, Chairman of the General Authority for Cooperative Housing, announced the completion of 434 housing units as part of multiple projects. This includes 240 units in the Loloat Badr Project (89 acres) in Badr City and 194 units in the Loloat October Project in 6th of October City.
He also noted the progress in connecting essential utilities. Sewerage, drinking water, electricity, and gas infrastructure have been completed for projects such as Loloat New Cairo, Loloat 10th of Ramadan, and Loloat Minya, with efforts underway to activate the electrical power supply. For Loloat October and Loloat Assiut, water and sewer systems have been installed, and electricity has been distributed to the projects.
Major General Al-Baroudi highlighted the authority’s supervisory role over cooperative housing associations. The authority has conducted 5,135 inspections, covering financial, administrative, and technical evaluations of various associations.
This development reflects the authority’s commitment to advancing cooperative housing projects and ensuring they meet high standards for urban infrastructure and services.
