Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, met yesterday with real estate developers and organizations operating in the North-Western Coast region. The meeting, aimed at exploring collaboration opportunities and reviewing development progress, was attended by officials from the ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), and the New Alamein City Development Authority.
Focus on Comprehensive Development
Minister El-Sherbiny emphasized the state’s commitment to the holistic development of the North-Western Coast. He highlighted the need for integration between ongoing projects in the region and the broader vision for its growth.
Enhancing Hotel Infrastructure
The minister stressed the importance of prioritizing hotel infrastructure within the region’s development plans, given the increasing tourist inflow and heightened interest in the area. He called for a clear timeline for constructing hotels to the highest standards, aiming to expand the availability of hotel rooms along the coastline to support the state’s tourism goals.
Proposals and Future Plans
The meeting explored various ideas to maximize the potential of available lands and ensure integration between projects and development zones in the region. Proposals included the construction of a visitor promenade connecting different projects, equipped with comprehensive services. Additionally, potential sites for future development were reviewed.
