Public Draw Announced for Allocating Land in New Obour City

Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the 9th and 10th public manual draws for allocating plots of land in the Al-Qadisiya and Al-Amal areas of New Obour City. The draws will take place on Monday, January 20, 2025, and Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at the New Obour City Authority headquarters.

The initiative is part of the ongoing efforts to finalize land status settlements for citizens and entities in areas added to the jurisdiction of several new cities. These efforts aim to promote better land use planning, create investment opportunities, and develop integrated urban communities.

According to Dr. Eng. Ahmed Ismail, the 9th public draw will allocate plots in the Al-Qadisiya area to citizens who have paid their deposits by Thursday, November 21, 2024. The allocations will cover land plots in size categories of 209 m², 276 m², 350 m², 400 m², 450 m², and 500 m². This draw is scheduled for Monday, January 20, 2025, at the Authority’s headquarters.

Similarly, the 10th public draw will allocate plots in the Al-Amal area to citizens who have completed their payments by the same date. This draw will occur on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, following the same size categories.

Citizens wishing to attend the draw must arrive at the Authority’s headquarters starting from 10:00 AM on the specified dates for registration. Doors will close at 12:00 PM to commence the manual draw. Attendance will be permitted upon presenting a valid ID and the original payment receipt
