The Ministry of Housing has extended the deadline for purchasing application booklets for the latest phase of the “Housing for All Egyptians 5” project. This phase includes approximately 87,000 residential units, catering to low- and middle-income groups. Units are distributed across 16 governorates in 22 new cities, with 23,958 ready-to-move-in units available. The units come in varying sizes and prices to suit different needs.

To accommodate the high demand, the ministry has extended the deadline for purchasing application booklets and submitting reservations until Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Interested citizens can secure their application by paying a booking deposit at post office branches in their respective governorates.
Priority Groups
The project prioritizes specific societal groups in the following order:
- Married individuals with dependents.
- Widowed men or women with children.
- Divorced individuals responsible for children.
- Married individuals without children.
- Single individuals.
Eligibility Criteria for Social Housing
Applicants can register via the “Maskan” platform or the Social Housing Fund’s website. The following conditions apply:
- Egyptian Nationality:
Applicants must be Egyptian citizens. - Income Limits and Financing:
- Low-Income Units:
- Annual income should not exceed 144,000 EGP for individuals and 180,000 EGP for families.
- Units are offered at an 8% interest rate through a mortgage finance system.
- Middle-Income Units:
- Annual income should not exceed 240,000 EGP for individuals and 300,000 EGP for families.
- Units are offered at a 12% interest rate through the same system.
- Low-Income Units:
- Payment Terms:
- A minimum 20% down payment is required.
- Payment terms extend up to 20 years.
- Age Requirement:
- Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
