Minister of Housing Holds Key Meeting to Accelerate Alamein New City Projects

Engineer Sherif El-Sharbeni, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held a comprehensive meeting on Tuesday evening with construction companies involved in Alamein New City projects. The session focused on reviewing progress, overcoming challenges, and expediting completion rates. The meeting was attended by officials from the ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), and the city’s administration.

Minister El-Sharbeni directed construction firms to adopt compressed and precise timelines for completing residential projects with the highest quality standards. He emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts, increasing workforce capacity, and prioritizing financial resources to finalize the facades, entrances, and landscaping for buildings along main roadways. Interior finishing works are also to progress in parallel, adhering to established schedules.

The minister reviewed detailed updates on various residential developments currently underway in Alamein New City, including Mazarine Compound, the Latin Quarter, Downtown Alamein, and the Beachfront Towers. He also assessed the progress of the city’s heritage district and other ongoing projects.

Minister El-Sharbeni reaffirmed the ministry’s full support for contractors to ensure project milestones are met and developments are delivered on time, reflecting the government’s commitment to advancing urban development in one of Egypt’s flagship cities.
