This afternoon, Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, met with Eng. Adel El-Naggar, Governor of Giza, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital. The meeting aimed to review shared initiatives between the two entities, with the attendance of ministry officials and representatives from the housing and utilities sectors.
Both Minister El-Sherbiny and Governor El-Naggar highlighted the ongoing collaboration between the Ministry of Housing and the Giza Governorate on several key projects designed to serve the residents of the governorate.
The Central Agency for Reconstruction, under the Ministry of Housing, has undertaken and is implementing several road infrastructure projects to ease traffic congestion and improve connectivity within Giza. Additionally, there is active cooperation on water supply and wastewater management projects, alongside other developmental initiatives within the new cities located in Giza Governorate.
The meeting underscored the shared commitment to addressing the region’s urban and infrastructure challenges, ensuring that the projects align with the broader objectives of sustainable urban development and improved quality of life for residents.
