Progress in Third Phase of Administrative Capital Employee Housing Project in Badr City

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced significant progress in infrastructure and site coordination for 295 buildings comprising 7,080 residential units under the third phase of the Capital Employees Housing Project in Badr City. Construction and finishing works continue, alongside the establishment of essential services to support incoming residents.

During an inspection tour, Minister El-Sherbini reviewed ongoing projects, including residential buildings, utilities, and development efforts aimed at urban improvement. He emphasized the need to expedite work while maintaining high standards of execution.

Mohamed Abdel Aziz Amer, Head of the Badr City Development Authority, also visited the project site, directing contractors to provide a condensed timeline for completing works and opening roads. He urged the removal of any obstacles hindering road surfacing to facilitate timely unit delivery.

Furthermore, Mr. Amer inspected the construction of the city’s largest recreational project, a 106,000-square-meter sports club. With 90% completion, the club will feature Olympic-sized pools, children’s pools, various sports courts, a multi-level gym, an open theater, and commercial and social facilities.

The tour also highlighted advancements in road safety, including traffic signage and enhanced measures at intersections to improve traffic flow and reduce accident.
