Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, the Egyptian Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has issued new appointments within the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA). Dr. Walid Abbas Abdelkawy, a senior official within the Authority, has been appointed as the First Deputy to the Chairman of NUCA, a prestigious role designed to further enhance the Authority’s operations and efficiency.
In a parallel move, Engineer Ahmed Mohamed Abdel Razek Ahmed, who has been serving as General Director and Acting Head of the Administrative Capital Development Authority, has been tasked with overseeing the Minister’s office. This new role is expected to facilitate better coordination and strategic planning, aligning with the Ministry’s development goals for Egypt’s new urban communities, including the Administrative Capital and other emerging projects.
These appointments reflect the Ministry’s ongoing commitment to strengthening leadership within key sectors, ensuring that urban planning and infrastructure development in Egypt progress effectively under skilled management.
