Minister of Housing Appoints New Vice Presidents for the New Urban Communities Authority

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has announced new appointments to key leadership positions within the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), aiming to enhance the organization’s strategic and operational efficiency.

1. Financial and Administrative Affairs:
Mohamed Ragani Mohamed Ahmed, a high-ranking official within NUCA, has been appointed Acting Vice President for Financial, Administrative, and Human Resources Affairs. This role will involve overseeing the authority’s financial management, administrative operations, and HR functions to support NUCA’s sustainable growth.

2. Planning and Projects:
Engineer Ahmed Mohamed El-Sayed Moussa, also a senior official, has been designated as Acting Vice President for Planning and Projects. Moussa will be responsible for spearheading planning initiatives, project development, and ensuring alignment with NUCA’s long-term objectives for urban expansion and community development.

3. Utilities and Network Maintenance:
Engineer Amin Hassan Ibrahim Ghoneim, holding an executive rank at NUCA, has been appointed as Vice President for Utilities and Network Maintenance. Ghoneim’s responsibilities will focus on maintaining and upgrading essential infrastructure, including utility networks and treatment plants, to ensure reliable services across new cities.

4. Development and Construction:
Engineer Kamal El-Din Ahmed Behjat, another executive-ranking official, has been appointed Acting Vice President for Development and Construction, in addition to his current role as Deputy CEO of the Social Housing and Real Estate Financing Support Fund. His expanded responsibilities will include overseeing urban development projects and coordinating construction efforts to advance NUCA’s mission of building well-equipped, sustainable communities.

These appointments mark an important step in NUCA’s commitment to strengthen its administrative and operational capabilities, ensuring efficient urban planning and service provision across Egypt’s new cities.
